MEET JENNIFER

Jennifer has spent over the last decade working in the field of victim's rights where she has specialized in sexual violence, domestic violence, and stalking.  Jennifer has developed and coordinated outreach and educational programs in the community, local schools, and universities. Besides, being the founder and operator of Let It Be Heard, Jennifer is also the Executive Director of a local non-profit that provides resources and education for women and all families in crisis.

 

Jennifer has worked alongside law enforcement, court officials, and other agencies. She has trained numerous professionals on best practices.

 

Jennifer has helped to create and update policies, procedures, and protocols in regard to prevention and response to violence at schools.

 

In addition, Jennifer has provided crisis counseling to survivors, advocacy to those receiving an evidence collection kit at the hospital, survivors making their statements with the police, and those going through court proceedings.

 

She has given testimony on 6 bills that are current laws and holds specialized crisis counseling certifications in the area of Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence.

Let It Be Heard offers education and prevention programs along with motivational speaking engagements.

We are giving a voice to ending sexual violence, domestic violence, and stalking.
